A Brief History Lesson
Formed many many moons ago by a man named Brian. Originally, Hazeshift.com was a webcomic of shitty proportions made by Brian himself (The former comics are located somewhere on his hard drive, he just refuses to post them presently. Cause he’s a dirty fucker. YOU FUCKER.).
The website then transformed into a barren wasteland of zero updates for several months at a time. Eventually, it was reconfigured, like a transformer, into a podcast which lasted about 8 episodes and a brief stint with iTunes. The podcast episodes are located within the extras section of the website for your listening pleasure. Brian had went by Dr. Hazeshift at the time, thinking it was neat and hip. It was not.
Again, Hazeshift.com was converted into a reviews website that housed about three reviews, two written by Brian and another written by Brian but had his friend’s name on it. We just pretended he wrote it. There was another lacking in updates as the website sat there, collecting dust once again.
Finally, Hazeshift.com had been converted into a place where Brian and friends could just fuck around at their leisure, posting videos of their really funny stuff on Youtube and generally wasting time. With all the failed ideas in the past, Brian decided to combine them all into one website.
Henceforth, Hazeshift.com would be used as a podcast, reviews website, webcomic, and videos for the internet to enjoy. And any sub domains would have their purpose listed probably on the front page or completely irrelevant to Hazeshift.com that you would wonder why they’re even hosted here in the first place.
How We Do It
Videos
Recorded in Fraps by Brian or someone else and then edited in Sony Vegas or Windows Movie Maker. Nothing fancy.
Podcast
Recorded either in Ventrilo or Skype, whichever doesn’t feel like being an asshole, and then edited in Audacity. We are looking into other VOIP programs that will provide better quality, so if you’ve got some suggestions, MAKE THEM.
Web Comic
Drawn with a mouse in Flash and finishing touches in Photoshop.
Reviews
We use a fucking text document, what do you think? We also try to play the game to completion before we write our review. Games are out of Five. We try to cover Gameplay, Graphics, Music and Sound, Multiplayer, and Story.
The Future
Plans for the future? Well we haven’t really gotten that far. When we get there, we’ll get there. As for now, just enjoy the content that is posted on Hazeshift.com and don’t be a douche bag.
Forums will be hosted on this site when activity becomes necessary to have them. As for now, post anything in the comments of the posts. And don’t be a douche bag.
